Falmouth YMCA Topping-Off Ceremony

FALMOUTH — On September 10th, the Dellbrook team, project partners, local officials, and community members gathered to celebrate the topping-off of the Don and Dottie Smith YMCA & Community Health Center of Cape Cod in Falmouth.
This 89,022 SF development will bring a recreational facility and Community Health Center together within a single, two-story structure. Designed as a comprehensive health and wellness hub, the development will offer sports, fitness, wellness, and educational programming alongside accessible outpatient healthcare and preventative services for residents of the Upper Cape.
Sustainability plays an important role throughout the next stages of construction, with high-performance systems, energy-efficient mechanical and electrical infrastructure, and sustainable materials incorporated into the structure. These features supports the YMCA's mission of environmental stewardship of contributing a resilient asset to the community.
"Construction is the ultimate team game and that couldn't be truer on this project." says Greg Inman, Project Executive at Dellbrook. "Our team is proud to help deliver a facility this community has needed for a long time. Having grown up in this town and now raising my family here, this project is especially meaningful to me."
The placement of the final beam marks a major milestone in the project's construction. With the primary framework now in place, the team will shift its focus toward the next phase, involving weatherproofing and enclosing the property.
The Don and Dottie Smith YMCA & Community Health Center of Falmouth is anticipated to open in early fall 2027.
