The Lore project on Canal Street in Salem consisted of 344,510 SF of new construction across five wood-framed, podium-style buildings, delivering 250 market-rate apartment units in a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts spanning 10 different unit types. The development included elevators and climate-controlled corridors throughout the residential buildings. The project featured approximately 6,000 SF of resident amenity space and a 1,480 SF cold shell retail space within Building A. Resident amenities included a clubhouse, leasing office, dog wash, mail and package rooms, café, speakeasy, yoga and fitness rooms, additional fitness facilities, and a roof deck.

Site amenities included a swimming pool, dog park, grilling areas, and amphitheater seating surrounding the central courtyard. Each building incorporated above-grade, mechanically ventilated garage parking on the first floor, creating a comprehensive residential community that enhanced the Canal Street corridor and contributed to the continued growth of Salem.
